Corona Lanterns Quilt

This design uses a pack of pre-cut strips and a complementary background fabric. The resulting design gives the impression of oriental lanterns, or perhaps, the floating lanterns from an animated movie that was very popular one or two years ago. A video tutorial is available. Designs on the pattern cover make use of the Ivy Meander and Shell Meander quilting designs from the Expansion Pack that complements the Edge-to-Edge Quilting on Your Embroidery Machine book.
