| Instructor Bio: | Amy Collins has been embroidering since she was very young. It began with crewel and needlepoint and she has happily added machine embroidery to the list. She has been a machine embroidery enthusiast for many years, enjoying the creative process. Choosing the design, fabrics and thread to be used and completing a project for a gift or for her home keeps her interest. Amy taught embroidery classes in the past and loves being a part of the learning experience that happens when a group is together to create a project. She is an enthusiastic instructor and is always excited to see what each person in class is making in their own unique way. Amy is a great supporter of small businesses. She believes that without small businesses and their qualified ability to offer guidance, services and products that meet the needs of the individual would be a great loss for us all. She hopes to foster a community that supports small businesses by teaching at Going Batty Quilt Shop. Amy always enjoys the community, comradery, and laughter that occur when sewists and quilters are together and looks forward to meeting you all. |
