Sweet Strawberry Patch Runner - Lynda

What fruit always makes us think of warm summer days? Strawberries of course! Join Lynda for this sweet class as we make Lori Holt's adorable Farmer's Daughter Sweet Strawberry Patch Runner. Measuring 33.5" x 87.5". We will review the project and begin cutting out all of the quilt pieces. Lynda will demonstrate how to make the 9 patches as well as the strawberries so that you are able to complete several during class and leave with the tools you need to complete it at home.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Skill Details: Basic sewing knowledge and know how to use your machine.
Materials Included: Kits and supplies are available for purchase at Going Batty. Limited kits left!
Instructor: Lynda Buhlig
Instructor Bio: Lynda has been a sewist and crafter from childhood. She learned to sew on an incredibly heavy, metal Singer sewing machine that only had a straight stitch. Her first formal sewing class was held at Reno’s Singer Store in Park Lane Mall (no longer standing) where she learned to sew an outfit. Suffice it to say, it didn’t end well! Luckily, in high school, Lynda made a friend who taught her to sew and she was off and running! Work and life got in the way for many years, but she became a customer of Going Batty in the early 2000’s and bought her first Bernina from, who else, Keegan! Now that she is retired, she is enjoying working at Going Batty part-time, making samples and teaching classes. Lynda looks forward to teaching, and learning from, Going Batty’s wonderful staff, customers and class participants.
