| Instructor Bio: | Lynda has been a sewist and crafter from childhood. She learned to sew on an incredibly heavy, metal Singer sewing machine that only had a straight stitch. Her first formal sewing class was held at Reno’s Singer Store in Park Lane Mall (no longer standing) where she learned to sew an outfit. Suffice it to say, it didn’t end well! Luckily, in high school, Lynda made a friend who taught her to sew and she was off and running! Work and life got in the way for many years, but she became a customer of Going Batty in the early 2000’s and bought her first Bernina from, who else, Keegan! Now that she is retired, she is enjoying working at Going Batty part-time, making samples and teaching classes. Lynda looks forward to teaching, and learning from, Going Batty’s wonderful staff, customers and class participants. |
