| Instructor Bio: | I grew up in the Bay Area learning to sew from my grandmother and took all the sewing classes I could in high school. After raising 2 daughters I took some fashion design classes in college learning pattern design then moved to quilting. After retiring from the corporate world as a system administrator we moved to Gardnerville and then I joined Carson Valley Quilt Guild. I have been very active in the guild. I won Best of Show with my quilt in the 2024 quilt show. I joined the Going Batty team over 2 years ago as the machine tech and taught the Bernina machine classes. Working in a quilt shop has been a dream of mine and I really enjoy it. |
